Trio’s restaurant has been established in Noosa for over twenty years and is still as popular as it was since first opening.

Now situated in the South Pacific Resort for the last two years, it has the added versatility of two private function rooms, beautiful tropical surrounds and an inviting open fireplace which adds a welcoming warmth and ambience to the colder months.

Trio’s is now featuring a new winter menu, boasting some new ‘french’ influences that will not disappoint.

Dinner specials are still available throughout the winter season, with the added bonus of B.Y.O. with no corkage fee.

Here is a sneak peek of a few new menu temptations, for ‘starters’ an indulgence for the seafood lover, try the southern black mussel’s in a creamy curry with onions and shallots or how about some pan-seared Scallops on crispy sweet potato, pickled ginger and shallots with wasabi lime dressing or for something completely different the green peppercorn duck rillettes with toasted sourdough.

For ‘mains’, we suggest some mouth-watering choices, like a slow braised lamb shank in red wine tomato garlic and fresh herbs with root vegetables and garlic mash or how about a Blue Gum smoked pork cutlet with braised red cabbage, grilled pear, green beans, creamy mash potato with dijon mustard jus and for another ‘french’ touch the hard to resist chicken ‘coq au vin’, mushroom red wine bacon sauce with a creamy mash and broccolini.

To finish, why not try some hard to resist desserts, perhaps a serving of baked Bailey’s fig cheese cake with vanilla bean ice cream or the coconut lime panacotta, with caramelised pineapple.

The ever popular Wednesday and Thursday specials, two courses for $39 including a glass of wine are still available.
