The latest indulgence has arrived in Noosa and it’s time to ‘spoil yourself’!
Australia’s first Happy Pops offers designer desserts with a difference with the opportunity to
create your own dessert-to-die-for. Choose from handcrafted gelato, sorbet, yoghurt, waffle or brownie ‘pops’; dip or drizzle from a range of premium chocolates; select up to three sprinkles and you’re good to go.
The Italian gelato machine is one of the biggest in the country and is set to pop out the finest, handcrafted gelato; the waffle machine is specially imported from the UK and rotates 360 degrees to create the crispiest waffles; with key ingredients locally-sourced and handcrafted onsite.
To meet dietary requirements, there are lactose free, gluten free and vegan-friendly options with a focus on plant-based stabilisers and low GI sugar with the gelato, sorbets, waffles and brownies made from scratch using locally-sourced ingredients such as Maleny Milk, Padre Coffee and Cooloola Berries.
With a dedicated kids menu starting from $4; a breakfast menu including yoghurt pops with berries and granola; Waffle pops with a choice of Nutella, bananas, yoghurt and berries; or bacon and cheese waffle pops; these is sure to be something for everyone.
Happy Pops is the brainchild of Augusta Puttkammer who holds a diploma in Culinary Arts; Cordon Bleus and Commercial Cookery; and has worked across the globe as a Pastry Chef.
For Augusta, Happy Pops is the realisation of a childhood dream. “From a very young age I dreamed of providing desserts as a ‘happy experience’ for everyone,” she said. “I want every customer to feel like a little kid and to have that sense of sweetness and awe.
“While it has been really hard work to bring this dream to reality, I want to hug my five-year old self and say ‘go girl – you did it!’”
Augusta said it was all about creating an experience that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.
