The menu in The Bistro Restaurant at the Tewantin Noosa RSL is extensive. There is a lunch and a dinner menu which are changed seasonally plus a specials menu.
The current dinner menu has an extensive selection including affordable club meals that are firm favourites including Roast of the Day for $11.90, a 200gm CAB Grain-fed rump for $12.90 and Pacific Dory crumbed, battered or grilled for $11.90. There is also a great selection of fine dining meals on the menu such as duck and barramundi spring rolls, salmon tarragon pasta and pan-fried barramundi topped with creamy garlic prawns.
The monthly specials always add something interesting to the menu and March is no different with head-chef Dwayne Purdie choosing salmon to feature this month. Salmon is well known for its health benefits and flavour making it a very popular choice with diners. The March Bistro special offers crispy salmon served with basmati rice on an Asian salad. The fresh salad of carrot, beans, onion, tomato and bean sprouts combines delightfully with the tastes of Asia that flavour the dressing. A serving of this delightful dish is only $17.90 for members and $19.90 for non-members.
The Bistro also offers an extensive lunch menu and a lighter meal menu is also available in the Coffee Shop so Tewantin Noosa RSL is sure to offer something to suit all tastes and budgets.
