  • Trio’s at South Pacific Resort

Previously on the river in Tewantin, Trio now has a home in the Noosa Resort, South Pacific on Weyba Road.

Owners Geoff Cohen and his partner Romain Veneault pride themselves on changing up the menu with the seasons and offering customers a truly unique and special dining experience.

Smoking their pork on the premises surely sets them apart from the crowd and if you know a bit about BBQ and smoking, you’ll know there are no shortcuts to this process!

Aussies love their meat and many believe that the only pure and true way to achieve the best bbq possible is by smoking it. The Blue Gum permeates a distinctive smell, which is hard to describe, almost sweet, and musky. This labour intensive process is worth every moment once you taste the end result on your plate.

Geoff brings his extensive skills to the table from owning the famous Bannisters Lodge circa ’91 which is now owned by world-wide renowned Rick Stien.  He adds owning Christel’s in Milton to his success list after winning the Best Country Restaurant award back in the 1980’s. This restaurant stuff is in Geoff’s blood.

The restaurant also features a grand piano within a beautiful setting overlooking the pool.

‘Get ready to discover this venue from a whole new eye. The mood and the atmosphere will be unlike anything else you have experienced,’ says Romain

Cabaret nights are also scheduled to run three times a year and Romain welcomes suggestions of artist you would love to see perform.

Trio’s is BYO, which means you can cart along your favourite wine and they don’t charge corkage, which is almost unheard of in these parts!

Sit at the bar from 4pm and let the crackling fire lull you into a winter dream and perhaps Romain will play a few tunes on the grand piano if you ask.
